I tape the sheets of paper together and place them in the Halloween candy bowl when I'm done. It's simply but lacks the timing of kids arrivals like yours does. I like to tick the kids on paper as they come by but adding that to a spreadsheet after the fact wouldn't be that difficult.

And it looks like Calgary hockey likes to be scheduled on October 31.

Paper? How do you keep track of the paper year to year? Get modern.

We bought travel supplies over the weekend too ... you can't stop this early packing train, it's three weeks early and leaving the station.

Osterberg was never a consideration for me but I guess that's for the best in light of what your experience with him.

The Mayor race in Sherwood Park was odd and maybe that's why it was a tight vote. There are no burning issues; Strathcona County is committed to a long term transit plan (local and with neighbouring Edmonton), the hospital is being built (however slowly isn't the fault of the mayor) and development happening with the ring road or subdivisions are well under way. The mayor needs to keep things on track and that's it. Osinchuk has done no wrong and Carr wasn't promising anything elaborate so it really was a coin toss between the two and the results reflect that.

This is unlike the results in Edmonton or Calgary where the winners won handsomely (60 and 70% respectively). Whatever happens in Edmonton will have more of an impact to Sherwood Park than the other way around.

Votey Ryan Osterberg? Seriously? I went to university with him, and suffice to say, I wouldn't want him making decisions in my government...

    That mayorship race was close.

I had never thought of this. I checked, and Portal was released in October 2007, five months before this photo and I never considered these to be companion cubes. I was so close to something geeky and amazing.

    Companion cubes? You monster.

This was 5 years ago. FIVE.

    What?

Yeah, I thought about correcting you at that moment but wanted to update Project 365 first. Don't worry though, my latest blog post says "I like the Z10, I'll never change" and here we are.
