    This year was special because a lot more from Rexall was on sale, like living room sets and memorabilia from the 'final year at Rexall'. New gear was half off retail price, I would go back but maybe be a bit more selective in what I wanted. This was the busiest year it's been so I can see it growing to be a mess if it continued like this.

    Knowing your success with socks I looked through the sock pile and it was all whites, oranges and no dark blues or blacks. They were on for cheap but if I wasn't going to use them then they weren't worth it.

    Ice Dragons colors don't match Oil Kings and Oilers branded gear so most of the floor didn't appeal to me.

    I went to the flames equipment sale a few years ago, and got the sturdiest socks I've ever owned. There were other things that were tempting, but I held my dollars for a future year.

    I've heard since then it's become a much larger gong-show, and it's not really worth attending anymore.

    I've posted the boxscore links to our 11-2 and 12-6 losses too. After busting my ass off Division 9 (of 13) it was nice to be rewarded with a few points in Division 11 (of 14). Four points is nice, but it ain't a hat trick...and one of my goals was in to an empty net, and I had images of this happening.

    Adrien is notorious for plumber crack. He is deceiving on the ice though, he skates like the wind and has a deadly accurate shot.

    9-6 win, but 4-4 in the beginning of the 3rd?

    And the opponents also have some pretty slick matching socks too. I was pretty jealous of how good they look as a team. Without Shannon enforcing sock and jersey coordination our team doesn't look quite as sharp so I'm heading to United Cycle tomorrow to see what's available for those who want to look the part.

    Our goalie...Chris, yeah, he joined us last year and is only part time this year. I haven't pressed him about buying an Ice Dragons jersey but wearing something other than a North Stars would be nice.
