    Discussing the voting decision (with my wife) I see your point (with my fashion statement glasses).

    Five candidates is almost too many to pick from but your quick assessment has helped cull the herd but I still need to do research before Monday to make sure I'm not dooming the county with my choice.

    We missed out on watering...a lot. We didn't give our annuals or carrots any hope of surviving this year but next year I'll follow your advice and get carrots that are more than a finger long.

    I could never in good conscience, vote for someone who bases their political identity on their glasses. They are SUCH a statement, that she's clearly wrapped up in appearances. She'd look like a much more feasible candidate if she didn't wear them at all.

    Also they look like devil horns.

    Meanwhile Rod Frank seems to be a bit of an asshole. Who brags that they do activities with their kids (with my wife!)? That's like job one of being a parent. Do you think you'll still be able to spend time (with your wife!) once you're Mayor? Do you think that she'll be happy you're no longer helping with the kids?

    I don't envy your vote.

    Your soil is too dense/compacted. You need to till deep, then add some vermiculite a lot of peat-moss. This will make the soil much looser and allow the carrots to expand down and out.

    Root veggies WANT to be ignored, but they also need plenty of water and room to grow.

    It's not a competition...except it is. You can do better by bringing only one fuel can, fewer clothes, don't need a tent, or beautiful Crocs. Right there you trimmed size and weight from your gear bag - tada!
