It fits! I struggled to get the toilet flange installed and I wanted that in place before I put the porcelain together for a proper dry fitment. We have a 11.5" rough in and a 10" rough in toilet was either too expensive or difficult to find so we tempted it with a smaller sized 12" rough in toilet. There may be some rubbing by the tank but it won't require a boxed out space the previous owners had to accommodate their toilet install so I'd call this a win.
