I bent the bottom of my pole in Golden and thought I could put it back straight. I didn't. The pole snapped and I learned a valuable lesson about not getting emotionally attached to your poles. Thankfully I have a spare set of poles I can use for the upcoming weekend. Those poles are also bent but are still serviceable.
