Internet Trick - Reddit told me that if you separate your bananas they will not ripen as fast if they are not connected...we'll see Internet, we'll see.

- Monday 30 September 2013 16:13The bananas were purchased on Monday and separated that same night. By Friday they were still looking fresh and didn't have the sad browning that other bananas have developed when they were still connected days later. I will continue to do this and see if this was a fluke or an actual protip from the Internet.
