Reassessment Complete - Long story short: Statusfirm may still keep the money they took for RRSP contributions to line their pockets but at least the government paid me back after there was a difference in numbers on T4 slips from that year.

- Sunday 10 March 2013 19:29Something similar happened to me years ago. Tax contributions were on pay-stubs but not on the T4.
After an audit, I was found innocent and got my return. Don't know what ever happened to that employer tho.. -
- Tuesday 12 March 2013 17:29That's a feel good "court ruled in your favor, collect $200" kind of story. This reassessment nonsense required a lot of legwork from those who were shafted by Statusfirm and it was more complicated than a "Hey CRA, you have wrong info, send me back the money you demanded I pay last year, aight?".
