Midnight in Paradise - A mixup in our travel arrangements pushed back our plans by six hours so leaving the Westfjords to go to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula ended up being a long day. We checked into our guesthouse at 11:00PM and at 11:30PM we were in the hot tub with a bottle of champagne watching the sun never set, listening to the water crashing on the beach and staring at Snæfellsjökull and the nearby mountain range. This was one of the greatest things I have ever experienced.
