    Is that kosher? Donating blood with active vaccination in it? I mean, I know they're dead, but still... seems like something that should probably be done in the reverse order.

    Fair point, I was a bit surprised too. In the past I donated a day or two after getting a vaccine but this was my first time where one was after the other. The CBS employee cross referenced the flu shot in a master binder, confirmed the time of my injection and there were no further questions.

    The health clinic closed at 4:45PM and my blood donation was at 3:45PM, I probably could have gone in reverse order but wasn't keen on waiting if there was a post school rush.
