The Future is Scary - I wanted to see Blade Runner 2049 in theaters but missed out on the chance. A friend offered to watch it with me and a movie date was set. The movie was beautifully shot and every frame was a painting. Unfortunately the story was a little underwhelming but the slow burn and visuals kept me hooked for the ride.

Deckard doesn't show up till the 3rd act, The weird out of place 'getting out of car' shot. The extra logos for HDR, CERTIFIED FRESH, and French... I don't know... it's just fucking ugly. Any frame from the movie would have been better.
