Decision Looms - The municipal election is just a few days away and I'm uncertain who to vote for. The Sherwood Park issues are minimal compared to Edmonton, the mayoral candidates don't really say much on how they will fix what is wrong, three of the four running for school board trustee will get elected...I don't want to waste a vote but I feel like I'll be picking names at random for mayor and school board.

- Friday 13 October 2017 12:33I could never in good conscience, vote for someone who bases their political identity on their glasses. They are SUCH a statement, that she's clearly wrapped up in appearances. She'd look like a much more feasible candidate if she didn't wear them at all.
Also they look like devil horns.
Meanwhile Rod Frank seems to be a bit of an asshole. Who brags that they do activities with their kids (with my wife!)? That's like job one of being a parent. Do you think you'll still be able to spend time (with your wife!) once you're Mayor? Do you think that she'll be happy you're no longer helping with the kids?
I don't envy your vote. -

Five candidates is almost too many to pick from but your quick assessment has helped cull the herd but I still need to do research before Monday to make sure I'm not dooming the county with my choice.
