Birthday Thirty Four - Today was a mixed bag and work kicked my ass up and down from morning to night. The few hours I had to myself was treated to a few celebratory drinks, take out food instead of dining in, some gifts and a few surprises. Today was equally the worst and most memorable birthday I've had.

I'd recommend following the uber-professional route, and simply refusing to work on your birthday. I know several PM's who do the same, and they just opt to make it the businesses problem. Moving release dates isn't impossible. And you only get so many birthdays.
