History Tokens - A few more layoffs happened at work last week and one of them is asking for people to sign their 25, 30 and 35 year plaques. A lot of experience is walking out the door.

We embrace change and initiate opportunity. Please embrace this change.

We have a passion for growth. And downsizing

We believe in spirited teamwork. Just don't get used to your team mates.

We have the courage to innovate. Just kidding, we're an oligopoly.

Also totally appreciate how the 25 year one is a framed certificate.

The 30 year one is a slightly smaller, more branded plaque.

The 3rd one is an 8.5"x11" full colour print.

The decline in quality of the plaques is kind of sad. Keeping employees with a company for 25+ years these days is a challenge and when they get there all they can look forward to is a heavy card stock that was printed on the networked printer.

And well done on ripping in to the TELUS Values. Again, it's hard to swallow these when decades of service is met with a handshake and someone pointing to the door.

Now we are challenged to embrace constant, look for opportunities to grow all the while being asked to do more with less. It's the new Lean principle!
