Rauðisandur means "Red Sand" and is nestled in an arc between the Skorarhlíðar slopes and the Látrabjarg cliffs in the Westfjords of Iceland. We had a ferry to catch so we couldn't explore this area more, but it was wild to see the bright red sand as you made your way down the gravel road hill.
