The rain had stopped for a few hours and we thought it would be worth driving to the Látrabjarg cliffs to see a puffin. We were nearly at our destination when the road disappeared under water.
I got out and looked at the water. I felt like it could be possible, but with several water crossings completed today (and getting stuck once) I erred on the side of caution
Those puffins were almost in reach but it wasn't meant to be.
