A surprising turn of events as my 2018 13" MacBook Pro was taking too long to repair (or would require more parts than expected to fix the keyboard) so I was offered a 2020 13" MacBook Pro of similar specs as compensation. I was prepared to sell my 2018 laptop for a loss once the keyboard was replaced but here we are with a new computer that will hopefully last many many years.
It's now a bit of a laptop juggle as I prepare my just bought 2020 13" MacBook Air for sale and settle in to this new MacBook Pro.
