Looking for a pick me up so we ventured down the Hobbit hole of the Lord of the Rings trilogy this weekend. For convenience we watched on Netflix (theatrical cut and not extended edition) but it still hit all the right notes and helped brighten the mood. We typically do a rewatch every few years on long weekends but looks like we're now on pace for every two years (last rewatches on February 20/2012, September 1/2014 and July 2/2018).
