My home charge situation only delivers 16A so it's nice to see 32A and the ability to recharge in <8 hours. Seeing this screen was a significant weight off my shoulders as I knew the electrical connection worked and we would be able to go home.

I love that this photo is taken from outside the car, yet the screen is on. Does it stay lit? Would it charge faster if it was dark? Does the screen being on attract thieves? I mean, it's OBVIOUSLY a Tesla. Could they even fence the screen?

Good questions, the screen should turn off after a few minutes. It turned on because charging just started but once the car went to sleep (and continued to charge) the screen would be off.

The screen will remain off unless something happens with charging (starts, stops) or something triggers Sentry Mode and a message is displayed onscreen.

All Tesla vandalism footage I've seen is either damage to the outside or breaking the rear window to access the trunk and none have tried to take the large screen. I suppose someone could try and remove it but I believe it's solidly connected to the main computer that the removal process would make the screen useless. The screen is attached pretty securely and expect it to be more complicated than removing a video cable from the rear.
