    Birds and a cats in the same house is a recipe for terror. Thankfully Grandma avoided such a disaster.

    Buying someone a decoration or a a doink is a risky move, and if it doesn't do anything there isn't much of a reason to keep it around.

    At first, I thought they were real. And I started reading "Grandma gifted us"... oh god.

    I'm glad you like it, and found a space for it. We've been given some ugly gifts over the years that have either found a weird place in our home, or found their way to a donation bin.

    It was related to the conversation we had but I've been contemplating selling off my unused gear for a while. I did pick up the acoustic guitar, strum it a few times and smiled. I'll keep it just in case, but everything else related to the electric guitar (amp, pedal, cables) is going out the door.
